Jane Byrne

Jane Byrne is a Western Australian filmmaker, Production Designer and Head of Props with a background in community theatre and independent film. She wrote, directed, and acted in “From Another Angle”, directed “Listen”, served as Production Designer on “Silent Mile”, and was Head of Props on “Alien Echo”. Jane is fascinated by authentic human stories and the people behind them, drawing inspiration from individuals, communities and experiences that reveal something unexpected about being human. Whether through documentary, drama, or comedy, she aims to create films that entertain, spark curiosity, and encourage audiences to see the world from a unique perspective.
