About this Short Film

It is a high-tension story centered around an exciting competition set in a small hall. Four contestants—Kibrom, Tizita, Abel, who has a physical disability in one of his hands, and Azeb, who has lost both of her hands—enter the stage without any prior information about the rules of the competition. As the contest begins, the host announces the unexpected rule: the person who finds the correct key from the given keys and opens the locked box in front of them first will be the winner. However, as the host begins to distribute the keys, an unfair discrimination takes place; while she gives a few clean and shiny keys to the able-bodied contestants, ኧnumerous, rusted, and non-working keys are dumped on Abel and Azeb. As the timer begins to count down, a high psychological warfare and stubborn determination reign in the hall. Abel, losing hope due to the discrimination he faced, stares at the key in anger, while Azeb, putting aside her physical disability and the rustiness of the keys, uses the few remaining seconds to lift the final key with her mouth and faces the challenge to make a miracle happen.
